Even with a rather sharp opening fall, most investors do not see the financial economy falling into a so-called “double dip” recession. The same cannot be said for the rest of the economy.

Each of the major indices jumped nearly 1 percent in just one hour. Markets are on the rise, and shareholders are beginning to see their profitable dividends once again, but other indicators are still looking down.

Wall Street surged last week for its stronger 5-day showing in more than a year. The outlook for today seems considerably less optimistic as investors mull over U.S. industrial data.

Markets jumped during the morning Friday, though their gains were relatively weak when compared to yesterday. In other news, according to Reuters, oil prices are on the rise once again and set to end the week nearly 4 percent higher.
